Accomplishments (high and low)

Wrote a poem-generating program me in school (in Basic) and got one of the poems published (to my utter surprise).

Translated "The C Programming Language" by Kernighan & Ritchie to Swedish.

Built a LabVIEW-based laser control and data collection system for Time-of-fligh Electron Spectroscopy at Uppsala University, Sweden.

Designed and built a prototype for an acoustic disdrometer (rain gauge with no moving parts).

Built a Windows MFC based system for drawing graphical train schedules for the Swedish Railways.

Designed a system for fond trading for the Swedish Premium Pension Fond, handling fond trading for the working population in Sweden. Handled daily trading of €600M.

Personal interest

Avid choir singer. Decent photographer. Sucker for new technology. Loves to cook. Collects Swedish artisan chrystal.

Marital status

Happily married with Tommy, my partner in life since 20 years. No kids.

  • My oldest living relative is 105, still going strong.
  • I might yodel when getting drunk but usually avoids both.
  • My grandmothers cousin Knut Lundmark has an asteroid, a galaxy and a crater on the dark side of the moon named after him (what a treat).

Short bio

Born April 28, 1961 in Kiruna, Sweden

1961-1977: Passing through larval and pupal stages.

1977-1981: Technical College (electronics and telecom) at Hjalmar Lundbohms School, Kiruna. Graduated with high marks.

1981-1982: Military service as combat leader in Swedish Air Defence, Robot-70 system.

1982-1986: Electronics designer, programmer and occasional sales assistant at Transvertex AB, building military grade encryption machines.

1986-1989: Consultant at Functional Systems AB. Software design and development.

1989-1991: Technician at Dept. of Physics, Uppsala University. Assisted prof. Kai Siegbahn (Nobel prize laureate 1981) with building new devices for studies of the ESCA method (Electron Spectroscopy for Chemical Analysis). Designed some custom electronics and solutions for measurements, aquired proper equipment, put it all together. Lots of soldering.

1991-1992: Self employed. Worked with education in IT. Taught UNIX, C, C++.

1992-2000: Consultant at OOPix AB. Software Architecture and development. Designed and implemented systems for Swedish Railways, Scandinavian Airlines, among others. Held one of the very first Java courses in Sweden.

2000-2002: CEO at OOPix AB.

2002-2004: Self employed. Consultant at IKEA IT AB, developing systems for logistics, and Cinnober AB, developing UI for an options trade system for the London Metal Exchange.

2005-2012: Part owner and consultant at Heimore Group AB, working with software architecture and development. Also doing work in IT security with tools for Identity and Access Management and Governance.

Currently: Self employed, doing iOS development, for example the app Like.tv which was recently released. And node. And some tiny little Android stuff.
